Reunion: Is ‘Seinfeld’ Going To Do Something About That Ending?

When we last left our heroes 25 years ago… Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer were IN JAIL!

If you want more Seinfeld, or you’ve complained about “The Finale” at least once in the past 25 years, your dreams may soon come true!

While doing a standup comedy set in Boston, Jerry Seinfeld hinted that more could be on the way after taking a question from someone in the audience.

“I have a little secret about the ending,” said Seinfeld. “Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. Hasn’t happened yet. [Seinfeld producer] Larry [David] and I also have been thinking about it. So you’ll see.”

Seinfeld was one of the most popular TV shows in America during its original run. An estimated audience of 76 million people watched the last episode. And despite Seinfeld‘s status as one of the great all-time classic tv shows, the episode regularly ranks pretty high on lists of the worst TV finales ever made.

You might remember a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode that featured a fictional Seinfeld reunion plot that almost ran through the entire 2009 season. By the end of the finale, most of the series’ major players guest-starred on Curb including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards.

This might blow your mind. More time has passed between now and when this episode aired (2009), than between the end of Seinfeld and the Curb… episode!

What did you think of the finale when you saw it? What would you like to see happen?
