The Kansas City Royals are bringing back veteran Adam Frazier, trading fellow infielder Cam Devanney to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange on Wednesday.Frazier, 33, signed as a free agent with the Royals before the 2024 season and with the Pirates before the 2025 season.Last season in Kansas City, Frazier hit a career-low .202 with four home runs and 22 RBIs in 104 games.In 78 games in Pittsburgh this season, he has rebounded with a .255 average, three home runs and 21 RBIs.Frazier was drafted by the Pirates in the sixth round in 2013 and has a career batting average of .263 with 963 hits and 360 RBIs with Pittsburgh (2016-21, 2025), San Diego Padres (2021), Seattle Mariners (2022), Baltimore Orioles (2023) and Royals. He was an All-Star in 2021.
