Fields to Newsmax: No Homicides in D.C. Since Trump Took Control

White House deputy press secretary Harrison Fields told Newsmax on Thursday that in the week since President Donald Trump ordered federal law enforcement to manage policing in the District of Columbia, along with deploying National Guard troops, there have been “zero” homicides in the city.

Fields told “Newsline” that the statistics are hard to argue with and that Trump made the right decision.

“The good news here is that in one week, one week since the president has been doing this, we have seen zero homicides in the nation’s capital,” he said.
