Thanks to audio separation technology developed by Lord Of The Rings trilogy director Peter Jackson during his work on The Beatles’ Get Back docuseries a few years ago, John Lennon’s voice could finally be separated from a noisy cassette demo that Yoko Ono gave to Paul McCartney back in 1994. This enabled the surviving Beatles to finally turn “Now And Then” into a complete Beatles track. And now, almost thirty years later, it’s available for us to hear.

Here’s the documentary short film released yesterday that tells the story about the song.

A music video, also directed by Peter Jacson, will premiere on YouTube Friday morning.
