Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mom, is living every Swiftie’s dream. When The Today Show hosts ask her what it’s like hanging with Taylor in a VIP suite, she just deadpans, “It was okay,” with a smile.
Donna Kelce also appeared on the Got It From My Momma podcast, where she gives us some insight on how the halo effect of all the “Traylor” hype impacts everything from Travis’ jersey sales, to her sons’ New Heights podcast, and even the entire NFL.
“All I can tell you is that the NFL is laughing all the way to the bank,” Donna said. “You know what I’m saying? Good for them. They’re getting the ramifications of everything.” Donna says it’s cool that Swifties are getting into football. “I can tell you this, that they’ve told me personally that the Kelce family has done more good PR for football than they could have paid $1 million to a PR firm,” Donna confirmed.
Earlier this week, Travis Kelce expressed to his brother Jason on New Heights that the NFL is going overboard with their coverage of Swift attending Kansas City Chiefs games. The NFL released a statement Wednesday defending their approach.
