KCK police investigating city’s 45th homicide

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) – Kansas City, Kansas, police have identified the deceased victim in the city’s 45th homicide of the year.

KCK police were called to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting call involving a male in his 20’s on October 19th just after 8 p.m. Officers were also called to the scene located in the 2100 block of Ruby Avenue.

Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Aries Mickles of KCK. He has since died of his injuries.

This is the 45th homicide in KCK so far in 2020.
